How do you know which is the best
treatment to become a single mother?
Before starting any assisted reproduction treatment, at Equipo Juana Crespo we evaluate your fertility and, if you decide to embark on the journey of single motherhood, the procedure will be the same.
During the first visit, we will carry out a complete examination of your reproductive organs, as well as your overall gynaecological health, in order to rule out any problems that could complicate a possible pregnancy, such as polycystic ovaries, fallopian tube blockage, endometriosis, etc. We will also review your medical history and assess any previous fertility tests you may have.
This fertility assessment will allow us to determine the most appropriate technique to achieve your pregnancy.
If we detect any pathology, we will treat or mitigate it before carrying out an assisted reproduction treatment. Our medical practice is focused on diagnosis and the personalization of treatments. This approach has allowed us to position ourselves as the clinic with the highest success rates in high-complexity cases and among women who have previously experienced several failed cycles at other centres.

How do we choose
the sperm donor?
In our country, sperm donation involves complete anonymity and confidentiality for donors. This means that neither you nor your child will be able to know the donor’s identity.
The sperm donor is selected by our medical team, taking into account your phenotype (ethnicity, body build, hair colour and type, eye colour, etc.) and blood group compatibility.
Sperm donors must undergo very thorough medical testing to ensure optimal health. In addition, a genetic study known as the Carrier Test is performed on the donor. This test detects possible genetic alterations and/or mutations present in the donor.
In short, at Equipo Juana Crespo we ensure genetic compatibility between you and the donor, and we certify that the donor’s health meets the highest biological and genetic safety standards.

Why Equipo
Juana Crespo?
1. We will support you throughout the entire process
At Equipo Juana Crespo, you will feel supported—we will take care of you every step of the way. We have spent years helping women who, like you, have decided to pursue single motherhood. We know it is a difficult decision, and that you may need support and understanding during the process. That is why we want to make things as easy as possible for you. Our medical team is especially sensitive to complex cases, and we will provide you with thorough information about how the process works and which technique is best suited to your circumstances.
2. Highly personalized endometrial preparation
Preparing the uterus is essential to achieving pregnancy, and any deficiency in this process may lead to implantation failure and early miscarriage. Our team works to optimize uterine conditions to ensure that both the endometrium—the receptive layer—and the other structures involved in placentation are in the most suitable state to receive an embryo.
3. Leading results in high-complexity fertility treatments
An entire team focused on achieving the best possible outcomes—our commitment is to help you build a family, whatever your situation. This requires a high level of specialization in every area, from consultations to the laboratory and the operating room.
FAQS
How long can the process take from the first consultation to pregnancy?
The duration will depend on the treatment and your clinical situation. After the initial visit and diagnostic tests, some treatments, such as artificial insemination, can begin in the next menstrual cycle. In other cases, it may be necessary to prepare the uterus beforehand or treat an underlying condition.
Can I preserve my fertility now and postpone motherhood for later?
Yes. Fertility preservation through egg vitrification is a recommended option if you wish to postpone motherhood for personal or professional reasons. Freezing eggs at a younger age allows you to maintain their quality and have more reproductive opportunities in the future.
Will I be accompanied during the process or will I have continuous medical support?
Yes. We know that single motherhood is a very important decision, and we want you to feel safe and supported every step of the way. You'll have a specialized medical team to support you from your first appointment, answering your questions and providing personalized guidance at every stage of your treatment.
